Born in the windswept coastal town of Hermanus in South Africa’s Western Cape and raised on a wildflower farm at the foot of the Palmiet mountain range, Kim grew up surrounded by abundant natural beauty that helped shape her taste and style. Now an accomplished leader in the luxury wedding and event business, having planned and produced hundreds of weddings and events across Southern Africa, Europe and the United States, Kim brings couples’ visions to life with an emphasis on enhancing the setting with refined elegance and timelessness.

Kim’s past work as Director of Events for David Monn (New York City) and Project Director for Wedding Concepts (Cape Town) have taken her around the world creating and producing weddings and events of all sizes and complexities.

For two years of planning, Kim was the glue that held all the pieces of our wedding weekend together. Her calm demeanor, dedicated attention to detail, seamless organizational skills, deep connections with reputable vendors in the wedding industry, and elegant creativity was a truly incredible combination. There was neither a request too large nor a detail too intricate for Kim, which allowed us to have fun and enjoy the wedding planning process. Now that our wedding has come and gone, we look back and know that none of the magic of that weekend could have happened had it not been for Kim and The Wedding Collab.
